Sandra will be a great addition to the Lib Dem team!

Congratulations to Sandra Dunsby who became the latest local Liberal Democrat councillor on Thursday. Sandra was elected to Liberal Democrat controlled Blackwater & Hawley Town Council in a By-Election in Blackwater ward on 26th May.

The result was:

Sandra Dunsby (Liberal Democrat) 168 (72%)

Michael White (Independent) 65 (28%)

Sandra has lived in the area for 23 years and her family all live locally.

She already has a history of campaigning for local needs, having been active in a residents' association and then chairing it for two years.

Local Lib Dems believe she will be a great addition to our team and that she will soon earn a formidable reputation as a campaigning councillor!
